    Hi all,

We are currently supplying some informal support to a McMillan Trials Unit who are using Access to track the chasing/return of questionnaires for some 3,000 patients.  The patients are being followed up for several years.

Due to the amount of information they are recording per patient per visit (date questionnaire expected, date received, date chased, etc) they’ve had to split the information across 5 Access databases as it was causing performance issues.  Whenever they want to review the whole study they export and merge the datasets into Excel.

Is there any other free (or very cheap!) package they could use to record this data with?  Any such package would need the ability to import the current information.

    Suggestions welcome.
