Hi all,
Just in case anyone gets confused or receives questions on the topic, the NHS IG Toolkit seems to be in a simultaneous state of life and death. At the EHI conference in Birmingham earlier this week someone from NHS Digital announced the toolkit was being scrapped. At our ISWG meeting at the very same conference John Hodson from NHS Digital was telling us about concrete plans to further develop the toolkit to include cyber security in the light of the recent CQC/Caldicott review. Yesterday NHS Digital released a statement declaring the comments about scrapping the IGT as incorrect (and the web link to the latter news item has stopped working).
Whilst this exemplar or corporate communication is resolved, the current situation (at 09:23 today) is that the toolkit is alive and kicking.
