I expect most of us are told quite often by investigators that our CTU costs are too expensive!
Our CTU is part of a University and we have to apply quite a high overhead to the staff costs for the CTU when quoting for studies (obviously this depends on the funder).
I would love to hear what kind of overhead other CTUs have to apply to the staff costs? I am trying to get some evidence to prove we are costing in a similar way to other CTUS or gain some leverage to discuss / negotiate the overhead rate with the University finance team.
Would be really grateful for any information / advice etc from other CTUs?
