What level do you assign a person to be official study statistician i.e. signing documentation etc?
We have 2 band 5s (£21,388 to £27,901) who I would like to assign as official study statisticians but with band 6+ supervising them. My Manager is querying if a band 5 should be a study statistician at all.
The other issue is whether a band 6 should be supervising them (when band 5 is study statistician I mean as opposed to general training) or if it should be band 7+.
I would appreciate your thoughts based on experience from your CTU. Thank you.
