Open-ended position
Newcastle University currently have a vacancy for a senior academic in the Biostatistics group. This position will be focused on leadership of the applied part of the group, which predominantly works on clinical trials in collaboration with Newcastle Clinical Trials Unit.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in leading the statistical aspects of clinical trials, including management/supervision of more junior statisticians. It would be desirable for the candidate to also have a track record of their own research (either in an area of methodology or in a particular clinical area).
