Resource scheduling/project portfolio managing software query

Dear all

To inform our portfolio adoption process, we are looking into new ways to improve our current resource scheduling and better estimate our future resource capacity in the CTU to take on new trials.

May I ask what methods do you use for resource scheduling/forecasting resource demand for current and future projects within your CTU portfolio (e.g. Excel sheet , Microsoft Project or any other in-house developed or off the shelf-resource scheduling/project portfolio managing software etc.)

We are particularly interested if any of you is using any portfolio management/resource scheduling software and your experience with it.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
