Vetting Of Lay Members Invited To Join Oversight Committees

Hi, We are interested to know if any CTUs do background checks on potential lay members of oversight committees?

We’re aware of something called a ‘fit and proper’ person test, but wondered if any Units conducted such checks and if you have any checklists to use?
