We actively ensure that UKCRC registered CTUs’ views influence regulators, funders, and key decision-makers, while also forging strong connections with the international clinical trials community.

Our Structure – The Network comprises:

An Executive Group

The Executive Group provides oversight, governance, and accountability to the Network and consists of representatives from regulatory and funder agencies, CTU Directors, Government Research bodies, and a range of other stakeholders. Learn more

Member CTUs are involved in all aspects of the network, involved in all operations areas, and are represented on the Executive Group.

A Secretariat

The Secretariat comprises the Network Director, Programme Manager, and Administrator who work with the Executive Group, Operations and Task & Finish Groups, member CTUs, and other stakeholders to support the delivery of the Network’s core aims.

Operations and Task & Finish Groups

Operations Groups provide opportunities for professional development through peer-to-peer support, networking events, the creation of training and guidance materials and sharing learning and best practice. Learn more about our Operations Groups
Task and Finish Groups are time-limited and lead topical work programmes relating to efficient trial conduct, good research practice, quality standards, and the capacity and sustainability of non-commercial CTUs. Learn more about our Task and Finish Groups
