POSTING RULES FOR JOB DESCRIPTIONS

    These forums should be used for:

    • Posting copies of job descriptions which have been successfully graded at the required level.
    • Posting copies of job descriptions which have NOT been successfully graded at the required level in order to seek advice from colleagues in other CTUs.
    • Obtaining general advice from colleagues in other CTUs about which duties or responsibilities should be included in a particular job description.

    Rules for posting a job description:

    Before posting you should note that forum members will be free to copy the job descriptions which are uploaded here and amend them as required for use in their local team.  Please do not upload any documents if you do not consent to this.

    • You should use the forum with the heading which is most appropriate to your job description.  If you cannot find an appropriate forum for the job description you wish to post please email the Secretariat.
    • You should include the following information in the post header: [JOB TITLE] – [JOB GRADE] –[WHETHER IT WAS SUCCESSFULLY GRADED OR NOT] (e.g. Analyst Programmer – Grade 7 – Successful)
    • Please include the grade and salary range of the job along with the title.
    • Please indicate whether the post was successfully filled at the current grade.
    • If you wish to upload a document anonymously please remove identifiable details from the description and email it to the Secretariat who will post the document on your behalf.
